This statistic depicts the average amount of time spent per week attorneys in the United States spent on billable work other than meeting clients or representing clients in court in 2020. During the survey, 75 percent of respondents reported spending 20 hours or more per week on non-client facing billable work such as legal research, court filings and administrative/managerial work.
