This statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the public opinion on the effective management of communal issues following the 2014 general elections across India as of May 2018. During the measured time period, around 50 percent of respondents stated that they believed the Modi ministry had been effective in handling issues related to communalism as of the fourth year of being in power.

Respondents include citizens from over 250 districts in India. Not all respondents answered the question.

Note: The original survey question was phrased as follows: "Has the Government been effective in handling issues related to communalism in the last 4 years?".
The survey is in reference to the government formed after the 2014 general elections, which is the 16th Lok Sabha. The legislative term is five years long. The next elections are scheduled to be held in 2019.
