Italy: share of supermarkets selling packaged ice cream by category 2018

This graph shows the share of supermarkets and hypermarkets selling packaged ice cream in Italy in 2018, broken down by category. According to the data, mini ice creams could be found nearly all surveyed supermarkets (98 percent), while about eight in ten stores sold lactose-free (83 percent), vegan and gluten-free (78 percent) ice cream. Organic ice cream, on sale in about 67 percent the supermarkets taking part in the survey, was relatively less popular.
