Norway: main online security concerns 2016

This statistic shows the main online security concerns among individuals in Norway in 2016, by level of worry. According to the survey, 56.5 percent of respondents were worried that a virus would infect their computer, and 53.9 percent were worried about online identity theft. Moreover, the majority of respondents, 61.1 percent, were not worried about getting bullied or harassed online.

"Participants were asked to rate how worried they are that selected online threats will happen to them on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is “Not worried at all” and 5 is “Significantly worried". When presenting the results, responses 4 and 5 were aggregated into a category called “Worried” and the responses 1 and 2 into a category called “Not worried”. The response 3 is called “Neutral” in the presentation."
