This statistic shows the number of Nordic FIFA World Cup participants in the period from 1930 to 2018, by country. The Nordic countries, which includes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland, were no regular participants in the history of the FIFA World Cup. While Finland had not been a participant in any World Cup tournament so far, Iceland participated once. Norway took part in the World Cup for three times, Denmark participated five times and Sweden qualified for the World Cup 12 times. This includes the 2018 World Cup in Russia, along with Denmark and Iceland.
