Sleepless users
The second main concern of Italian users was related to sleeping after long time spent on social media. In general, this seemed to be a common problem, as in 2018, 31 percent of Italians admitted that they were having troubles sleeping and had frequent awakenings.
Always online
Already in a survey conducted in 2015, it came out that 25 percent of Italian social media users were always connected. Data related to 2016 on the time spent online broken down by users age showed that millennials and generation X (individuals between 35 and 44 years) spent about two hours online every day.
