During the measured time period, around 43 percent of respondents stated that the Modi ministry performed below expectations as of the fourth year of being in power.

Note: The original survey question was phrased as follows: "Overall, how do you rate 4 years of Central Government performance?".
The survey is a reference to the government formed after the 2014 general elections, which is the 16th Lok Sabha. The legislative term is five years long. The next elections are scheduled to be held in 2019.
