This statistic displays the most important factors in making a decision about a new or used vehicle in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. Price was the most frequently cited factor for 74 percent of respondents. Running costs and reliability were also important factors for respondents with 67 and 62 percent of respondents listing these factors respectively. The latest in-car technologies amounted to 12 percent of the most important decision making factors according to car buyers in 2017.
