Brazil: VW passenger car market share 2016-2021

German automaker Volkswagen had been consistently gaining space in the passenger car market in Brazil up to 2020. In 2021, the brand accounted for nearly some 17 percent of new passenger cars sold in the South American country, down from a share of around 18 percent a year earlier.
