In 2022, the accommodation sector in Oslo municipality employed on average 3,945 people. In Bergen, the number was above 1.7 thousand employees, while it amounted to approximately 1.4 thousand people in Trondheim. Less than one thousand employees were registered in Stavanger, Tromsø and Kristiansand.
