This statistic illustrates the share of total new business lending that was to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Czechia from 2008 to 2018. It can be seen that during the time period displayed, the share of new business lending to SMEs generally decreased. In 2008 the share of new business lending to SMEs amounted to approximately 24 percent, by 2018 this had decreased to just over 21 percent.
