This statistic shows the amount of pocket money received by children (eight to 11 years old) in the Netherlands as of February 2018, by grade. When the Dutch children were asked how much pocket money they receive, it showed that 8th graders received 11 euros on average. On the other hand, 5th graders received only seven euros on average.

7th grade (groep 7): 7th year of primary school, children aged 9-12.
8th grade (groep 5): 8th and final year of primary school, children aged 10-13.
