The total revenue of the Italian gaming and betting company Sisal increased by roughly 39 percent in 2021 over the previous year, following a sharp drop in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2021, the segment of video lotteries (VLTs) and amusement with prize (AWP) machines reported the highest figure, generating around 140 million euros. Meanwhile, the online gaming segment recorded the highest annual increase. Overall, the total gaming revenue of Sisal amounted to nearly 451.6 million euros in 2021, almost catching up with pre-pandemic levels.
