Apple accounted for 51.9 percent of the total smartphone shipment volume in Japan in 2023. It was followed by Sharp, which accounted for 10.9 percent. In total, 30.01 million smartphones were shipped during that year, which was a decrease of 11 percent compared to the previous year.
