Quarterly number of Norwegian tourists 2017-2019, by type
This statistic displays the number of domestic and outbound tourists in Norway from 1st quarter of 2017 to 4nd quarter of 2019, by type. Most Norwegians were traveling in their home country in the first quarter of each year, whereas most outbound tourists were reported in the third quarter of each year. Also combined domestic and outbound trips were most often made in the third quarters. In the fourth quarter of 2019, there were 1.18 million domestic travelers in and 0.81 million outbound travelers from Norway on the move, as well as 0.4 tourists on combined domestic and outbound trips.
