This statistic depicts the distribution of asthma cases in Italy in 2017, by type. A distinction is made between allergic, non-allergic and mixed asthma. According to data, 73 percent of the cases reported in Italy were of allergic asthma, while 14 percent of them were cases of non-allergic asthma. Lastly, 13 percent of the individuals were affected by mixed types of asthma.
