During the survey, the respondents were asked if they agree or disagree with the notion that socialism is of great value for societal progress. This statistic only shows those respondents who somewhat of strongly agreed with this statement. Some 84 percent of respondents in China agreed somewhat or strongly with this statement.

* According to the source, "approximately 1,000 individuals aged 18-64 were surveyed in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Italy, Japan, Romania, Russia, Spain, Great Britain, and the USA. Approximately 500 individuals aged 16-64 were surveyed in Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Hungary, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Korea, Sweden, Turkey."
