Bad debts written-off in Turkey 2017

This statistic illustrates the amount defaulted by leading banks in Turkey as written-off loans in million Turkish lira. In 2017, Yapi Kredi bank announced written-off loans in 2017 that amounted to over 1.62 billion Turkish lira, almost double more than Garanti bank who came in as the second highest.

* TL 248,5 million in full TL amount of the Bank's non-performing loan portfolio has been sold to Girişim Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş. at a price of TL 40,3 million in full TL amount. Specific provision previously allocated for this amount, is shown under “Write-off”
