The statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the share of the adult population using e-readers in Belgium and the Netherlands in 2017 and 2018. According to the outcomes of the Google Consumer Barometer survey concerning e-reader usage by adults, the share of adults using e-readers increased in both Belgium and the Netherlands in 2018. Usage of e-readers by adults in Belgium doubled in 2018, however in both years the share of adults using e-readers in the Netherlands was greater than in Belgium. In 2018, roughly five percent of adults in Belgium used e-readers, whereas in the Netherlands ten percent of adults used such devices that same year.
