New Northern Policy, launched by the Moon Jae-in government of South Korea in 2017, seeks the country's economic cooperation with Russia and among North Asian nations across energy, shipbuilding, agriculture, fishery, and transportation industries. The Policy is expected to contribute to stabilize peace on the Korean peninsula and create a new growth engine for the economy.
