This statistic shows the leading consequences of cyber attacks experienced by small to medium-sized enterprises in Canada as of September 2017. The findings show that 34 percent of responding Canadian SMBs were locked out of company devices and networks following a cyber attack, and 25 percent lost money as a result of paying to retrieve their files, hardware and/or network.
