People in the USA received far more letter mail in both of these years than people in other countries, nearly doubling the volume of letters received in second placed Sweden. The year 2016 saw a decrease in letter mail volumes in almost every country* recorded here, as people and businesses turn increasingly towards digital modes of communication.
