In 2020, approximately 77.8 percent of newspaper readers surveyed in Colombia stated that they had read the national news sections of newspapers during the month prior to the survey. Nearly 66 percent of respondents said they had read local or regional news sections. Meanwhile, less than 13 percent of Colombian newspaper readers stated that they had read the classified ads.
