This statistic shows the leading sources from which children and teenagers in Canada get ideas about books to read for fun as of February 2017, broken down by age group. The findings show that 15-17 year olds are less likely to get ideas about new books to read from a teacher or a librarian, with 42 percent saying this is the best source of inspiration for them, compared to 56 percent of 6-8 year olds.
