Frequency of independent reading at school by Canadian kids and teens 2017, by age
This statistic shows the frequency with which children and teenagers read independently in school in Canada as of February 2017, by age group. The findings show that 23 percent of 6-8 years olds said that they read independently in school every or almost every school day, while the same was true for 11 percent of respondents aged between 15 and 17 years old said the same.
