The FMCG sector continued to be the largest contributor to television advertising revenues in India, accounting for 46 percent of revenue growth in 2021. The e-commerce sector was the next most prominent contributor with 18 percent of the television advertising revenue being attributed to it. This was also the sector to increase its television ad spend by 93 percent along with the education sector.
