In 2022, the Russian population allocated nearly 78 percent of its income on consumer spending. Compulsory payments and contributions occupied over 13 percent of the total income, while total savings exceeded seven percent. To compare, within the population's disposable income, the share of consumer expenditures was higher, at 90 percent.
