In 2022, roughly 50 percent of female individuals over 65 years of age in Italy consumed alcoholic beverages. This statistic digs into the different types of alcohol consumption among older individuals, as well as different consumption behaviors. According to the data, 43 percent of senior women consumed wine at least once over the previous 12 months, whereas approximately 25 percent of them used to drink beer.
