This statistic provides information about the number of digital banking customers using exclusively mobile apps to access their bank accounts in Italy in selected quarters from the first quarter of 2015 to the fourth quarter of 2017. Over the period of consideration, the number of Italians using only mobile apps for banking and financial services experienced a sharp increase, going up from 410 thousand digital banking users as of the first quarter of 2015, to about 1.2 million people by the end of December 2017.
