This statistic depicts the results of a survey regarding the digital payment methods used to transfer money or pay a person (not business) in Italy as of January 2018, broken down by age group. Particularly, respondents were asked whether they used digital payment solutions more than once over the last month.
As of January 2018, 21 percent of individuals in the 15-24 age category declared a frequent use of online payments, whereas only two percent of people between the age of 55 and 64 years reported a similar trend.
