The share of men and women working as level one chief financial officers was approximately the same, reaching about 50 percent each. The biggest difference was reported for sales and marketing managers, where 73 percent of managers were men and 27 percent women.

According to the Swedish Standard Classification of Occupations 2012 (SSYK 2012), which is a system for classifying and aggregating data about occupations in administrative registers or statistical surveys. The skill level reflects the type of working tasks and their complexity. Level 1 covers elementary education at primary school level. In a Swedish context, this means no or a low formal education requirements. Level 2 covers education programs at upper secondary and tertiary level of no more than 2 years in length.
