This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted from September to October 2017 across 12 cities in India about the acceptance of Internet of Things (IoT) for food supply management. During the survey period, around 40.1 percent of respondents stated that they would probably accept new technology relating to IoT for food supply management in their homes.

The report is based on over 2,000 face to face interviews conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Patna, Bangalore, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

Definitely - it would be a huge benefit to ensure that the fridge is always stocked and food is never wasted.
Probably - I would love never having to worry about stocking the fridge again.
Unlikely - I usually eat ‘takeaway’ anyway!
Never - I have a photographic memory and never forget what’s in the fridge or
when and what to order.
