This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted from September to October 2017 across 12 cities in India about the share of the population that forget to restock essential groceries by frequency. During the survey period, around 31.7 percent of respondents stated that they forget to restock essential groceries (such as milk) at least once per week.

The report is based on over 2,000 face to face interviews conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Patna, Bangalore, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
