The number of enterprises in the pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing industry in Turkey decreased by 47 enterprises (-15.31 percent) since the previous year. This was the first time during the observed period that the number of enterprises in this industry declined in Turkey. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant higher number of enterprises than the preceding years. According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
