This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted from October 2017 through January 2018 among adult Americans on their brand preference for cable or satellite TV services. The results were sorted by income. During the survey, 16.3 percent of respondents earning less than 50,000 U.S. dollars per year stated they prefer DirecTV; 24.8 percent of respondents earning 50,000 U.S. dollars or more said the same.
