This statistic illustrates the total investment portfolio managed by life insurance providers in Europe, from 2010 to 2018. From 2010 to 2016 the total value managed by insurers has continuously increased. From 2017 onwards, there was a minor downturn, reaching just under eight trillion euros in 2018, almost two trillion more than the value managed in 2010.
