This statistic presents the percentage of aboriginals in Canada who reported having quite a lot of life stress from 2007 to 2014, by aboriginal identity. It was found that in the period from 2011 to 2014, around 18 percent of the Inuit population perceived they suffered quite a lot from life stress.

* The terms "First Nations" and "North American Indian" can be interchanged. The term "First Nations" refers to the First Nations population living off reserve.
Respondents who reported perceiving that most days in their life were quite a bit or extremely stressful. Perceived life stress refers to the amount of stress in the person's life, on most days, as perceived by the person or, in the case of proxy response, by the person responding.
