Cruise passenger traffic in Mexico 2013-2022

Mexico's cruise passenger traffic had been growing steadily during the years prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, then decreased by roughly six million in 2020, the first year of the health crisis. While the number of cruise passengers increased sharply in 2022 compared to the previous year, it remained below pre-pandemic levels, reaching nearly 6.67 million.
