Coolblue is a Dutch e-commerce company which operates one of the largest webshops in the Netherlands and Belgium. Furthermore, the company owns physical shops as well under the Coolblue brand. The total earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of the webshop increased from 2015 onwards. In 2015, the EBIDTA amounted to a little over 8.3 million euros, whereas by 2018 this amounted to 27 million euros. Coolblue’s revenue had a similar development, as it grew from approximately 554 million euros in 2015 to 1.35 billion euros in 2018.
