High streets saw an increase in retail footfall of 1.2 percent over the Easter period in 2017 compared to the previous year, while retail parks and shopping centers experienced declines of 2.3 percent and 8 percent, respectively. In 2018, footfall is forecasted to increase in all locations, with the biggest increase expected to be seen in retail parks, at 3.1 percent.
