In 2020, around 60 percent of respondents in Peru stated that they strongly or somewhat agreed that unless more women held leadership positions in business and government gender equality would not improve. Additionally, 37 percent of respondents disagreed with the statement.
Meanwhile, in Chile 66 percent of respondents answered that they agreed with the link between women in leadership positions and improvement of gender equality.
