There is no shortage of mobile subscribers in Poland, with the number of mobile subscriptions in the country exceeding the number of inhabitants for the first time in 2007. There were 107.98 mobile subscriptions per 100 inhabitants in that year, and the figure has never fallen below 100 since that time. However, there has been a reduction in the ratio over the two most recent years, falling from 142.52 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants in 2015, to 130.54 subscriptions in 2017.
