In 2023, Stromer was the best-selling speed pedelec brand in the Netherlands with 2,116 unit sales. Stromer is owned by the Switzerland-headquartered myStromer Group and was acquired by Naxicap in 2021. The second most popular brand was Riese & Mueller, which sold just over a quarter of the number of speed pedelecs sold by Stromer.
