In 2021, the travel and tourism sector in Antigua and Barbuda contributed to approximately 84 percent of the country's total employment. This Caribbean country was the most tourism-dependent island in the region in terms of employment that year. Aruba ranked second in the list, with a contribution above 80 percent.
