Vibra Energia – formerly known as Petrobras Distribuidora or BR – is the leading diesel fuel distributor in Brazil, with a market share of over 25 percent in 2023. Despite its standing leading position, the company's market share has decreased by nearly eight percentage points during the period in consideration. Following Petrobras were Raízen (licensee of Royal Dutch Shell in Brazil) and Ipiranga, with shares of 18.8 and 18.4 percent of the Brazilian diesel fuel distribution market, respectively.
