In fiscal year 2023, Lawson generated an operating revenue of almost 1.1 trillion Japanese yen. Within the last decade, the Japanese convenience store franchise chain recorded a stable growth in operating revenue, with figures crossing the one trillion yen mark following the change of accounting standards.
Lawson, Inc. is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation and operates convenience stores under the Lawson, Natural Lawson, and Lawson Store 100 brands. In July 2024, the company was delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange following a tender offer by KDDI Corporation to share ownership.
