Preferred consumer orientation methods for new car insurances in the Netherlands 2017
Dutch consumers are familiar with the concept of switching insurances, as it is allowed to cancel one's health insurance and change health insurance companies up to the 31st of December each year. In the Netherlands, the casualty and property segment (commonly known in Europe as non-life insurance) is smaller than the life segment. In 2015, ABN Amro Schade had a revenue in gross written premium of approximately 254 million euros, making it the leading property and casualty (non-life) insurance company in the Netherlands.
