This statistic shows the share of chain hotels in Europe in 2019, by country. Of the European countries, Spain had the highest share of chain hotels. There, chains represented 34 percent of all hotels. In terms of numbers however, the total number of chain hotels in Spain that year was lower than in France and the UK.
