In 2018, close to 55.5 thousand people were employed in the manufacturing sector of plastic products in Colombia, down from 55.8 thousand people a year earlier. Between 2014 and 2017, the segment's workforce increased by almost seven percent. In contrast, the number of establishments in this sector in Colombia decreased by 11.6 percent in the same period.
