As of January 2024, tennis legend Serena Williams topped the rankings for WTA tennis players with the most total career prize money earnings. During her storied career, from which she retired in September 2022, Williams earned 94.82 million U.S. dollars in prize money. This was over double the prize earnings of her sister Venus, who sat in second place with 42.6 million U.S. dollars.
